Privacy policy

This website is operated by Sword & Shield, PLLC ("the firm"). This policy explains what we collect through the site and what we do with it. Last updated October 9, 2026.

What we collect

How we use it

To respond to your inquiry, to provide legal services if you become a client, to deliver purchased content, to process payments, to send transactional email (confirmations, receipts, password resets, matter updates), and to operate and secure the site. We do not sell or rent your information.

Who sees it

Firm attorneys and staff; our service providers under confidentiality obligations (hosting on Vercel, database on Neon, email through Resend, payments through Stripe); and anyone we are required by law or court order to disclose to. Information you send before an attorney-client relationship is formed is treated as confidential to the extent the Rules Regulating The Florida Bar require.

Cookies

A session cookie keeps you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Your choices

You can update or delete your account information from your dashboard, or ask us to delete it by emailing help@swordandshield.com. We retain client files as the Florida Bar rules require.

Tell us what happened. We answer around the clock.

Every message goes straight to Adrian Middleton's phone. If the investigator is still on your site, do not fill out a form: call or text the cell and put Adrian on the line with them.

  • · Do not hand over records until you know what is in them.
  • · Do not give a statement to the investigator without counsel.
  • · Do not keep working on the job site after the order is posted.

Sending this form does not create an attorney-client relationship. Do not include confidential details until we have spoken.
